I ordered the Glass Glue- because the only times I’ve ever tried to mend a piece of glassware, it has failed ….even super glue never works, as although strong, you just can’t hold it tightly together without it slipping and sliding before it dry-bonds. And timing couldn’t have been better, because literally days after receiving this glue, I had the perfect opportunity to try it out when I dropped and broke a treasured handmade glass Christmas decoration. The glue itself is similar in appearance to super glue, but in a larger bottle. And instead of ann annoying thin nozzle that blocks after one use, this comes with a wider open neck and four disposable long, super-fine nozzles to attach to the bottle neck. With these, you can accurately apply a precise amount of glue exactly where it’s needed. And the real beauty of this glue is how quickly it bonds – just 15 seconds or so after putting the joins together ( after applying a little glue to one side and applying pressure), the glass had bonded sufficiently securely to be able to let go of it without the two pieces falling apart- within an hour, I’d hung the decoration back up, and the join is pretty-much invisible. And the nozzle can just be detached and binned, leaving a clear neck with screw cap, ready for the next use. All in all, if I could give this more than five stars I would- it is reasonably priced, will most definitely last more than one use ( even when you run out of nozzles, there’ll be plenty left that you could easily just dip a cocktail stick or similar in instead), and it works incredibly well.
